F5 Engineer

Role Description:

• Configuring, implementing, and managing F5 load balancing (both LTM and GTM).

• Designing, deploying, and maintaining an enterprise network infrastructure.

• Providing operational support for data center networking.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM, APM, AFM, AWAF).

• Experience with F5 BIG-IQ for Centralized Management and Monitoring of BIG-IP configurations.

• Ability to work independently with provided requirements.

• Possess a self-starter personality to acquire a path forward based on research and requirements gathering.

Desired Qualifications:

• Eight (8) years of experience in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Six (6) or more years of IT security experience.

• Experience with both the Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Experience working with cloud services such as AWS, Azure and O365 and cloud access security brokers.

• Experience in the use of network monitoring tools with a strong understanding of network protocols.

• Ability to perform security analysis, development and implementation of security policies.

Clearance and Location Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information.

• This position requires to be onsite 3 days per week in Washington, DC.
